Heartbeat of Miami Pregnancy Help Medical Clinics Appeal

Hello Friends:

Today, in this introductory letter, Mary and I are writing to you on behalf of Heartbeat of Miami Pregnancy Help Medical Clinics.

Heartbeat is a Spirit filled, Spirit led organization in South Florida which rescues both the unborn child and the “mother to be” from the devastation of abortion. It offers free pregnancy tests to potentially pregnant women, many of them who are Christians and are “abortion minded”. Heartbeat is equipped with ultrasound technology and encourages the pregnant girl to observe the image of her unborn baby in the womb. Over 90% of the women choose life for her baby instead of abortion. The expectant mother then receives loving counseling, alternatives to abortion, and spirit led prayer ministry. All is done free of charge, by faith, and for the love, glory and honor of Jesus Christ.

Mary and I have had the pleasure of knowing Martha Avila, Jesse Basas, Jeanne Pernia, Claudia Lopez and the other ladies who make up Heartbeat of Miami. All of these women are born again, “on fire” believers who passionately love the Lord. They live and minister by faith on the free will offerings and donations of people who give to Heartbeat of Miami.

We volunteer at these two clinics and witness the continual stream of young women flowing in daily for pregnancy tests, many of them from local churches. Over 800 have already been born to Heartbeat of Miami and thousands have been rescued from abortion. They have only been opened for two years. The anointing of the Holy Spirit which dwells in these clinics is greater than anything which has been evident in church. In this ‘front line” ministry warfare between Jesus and the devil is constantly being waged. There is an ongoing battle against a spirit of death which endeavors to deceive these girls as abortion is demonic and the conflict is spiritual. There are over 37 abortion businesses in Miami-Dade County offering death to these women with an unplanned pregnancy. We can say so many more wonderful things about this ministry.

The bottom line is that because of the current economic downturn donations to Heartbeat of Miami are way down and the ministry is almost out of money. The staff which has not been paid in weeks perseveres in keeping these clinics open and operating solely for the glory of God and the saving of lives. The rent and other bills for these clinics are also severely lagging behind.

Mary and I come to you today and ask you to please donate financially to what we feel is at the very center of the Lord’s heart. The ministry of rescuing the unborn from the demonic clutches of death does not belong to any specific church. It is owned by the whole Body of Christ. It is vital that every member of the Body shoulder this great work and take ownership of it in some way. We also want to encourage South Floridians to pray about volunteering in these clinics. Your lives will be amazingly transformed by the Lord. Thank you for your attention.

Dear Friends:
As the president of Heartbeat of Miami, I want to thank you for your prayers and financial support.

This is the most difficult letter I have ever written. We have a tough decision to make within the next few weeks. Giving is down 48% from last year and unless we restore that giving immediately, Heartbeat of Miami Pregnancy Help Medical Clinics will not be able to continue.
It may be my fault we have come to this because I may have not been bold enough in my request for your help. Now I must be transparent with you. Our staff has not been paid in a month and their health insurance has been canceled. Yet they all show up sacrificially each day because lives and women's souls are at stake. We have only been able to pay half of our rent. I know you have God's heart for His "least of these" and I believe you have God's provision for this mission, or know someone who does. This is it.

All that will be left are the 37 abortion businesses to "solve the problem" of these women seeking help. They will be happy to see us go. Will God allow this? I have never been more grieved in all my life.The people of God are the only ones sustaining this ministry. The world does not care about the Sanctity of Life. God in us does. Our enemy uses fear to stop funding. Pledges have not been kept. Foundations are not giving nor fulfilling their pledges. Even churches have not come through. Our banquet did not reach its goal for giving. I have to forgive because they do not realize what they are doing. Many do not understand what the cost of fear is. Someone offered us a 2000 sq ft clinic last month in Little Havana, right across from a school. It was like salt in a wound. How could we fund an extra $150,000/yr even though we have trained staff and volunteers ready to do what God called them to do?This is what we need now: Those who can write large checks please write them now

God's $100 K Gold Rollex

I am giving you a $100 K gold Rollex watch, now take it and wear it!

If you don’t, though the Rollex is yours, it will be like it never belonged to you, and it will gather dust, and you will die, and the watch will still be there sitting on your bedroom nightstand.

So it is with the eternal life through Jesus Christ. Jesus is God’s $100 K Rollex. You see God is a one watch wearer. He is simple, humble and unpretentious! He is not like us who are into “stuff.”

The Rollex is there for your asking. It sits on every person’s night stand. It beyond precious and priceless, and above everything which money can buy.

If you choose not to take it, well, you have said that you don’t want God’s Rollex, God, or to live in His mansion. That is all that hell is! It’s the piece of estate in downtown ghetto that you chose, not God….because He wants to build you a mansion.

You still have time to snatch that Rollex…..but it can only be grabbed here on earth.

Humanity fights about the watch, tries to break it, spits on it, and stomps on this gorgeous, gorgeous piece of jewelry. Gee, I don’t know why. I thought that everybody would want such a lovely thing! They fight about not taking the Rollex, argue why not to take it, rationalize about maybe taking it on their death bed, they run away from it, and flee from it like if it has the cudies.

Yet God keeps on offering the watch free of charge to anyone who wants it. You know, God is cool and loving, He never gives up! But, the watch must be worn while you are down there. Anyone without the $100 K Rollex won’t be allowed in heaven. The Rollex is the membership and your way in through its pearly gates.

Don't blame God later if you are caught without your Rollex and you are kicked out from heaven's ballroom into another room which is dark and where you will gnaw your tongue, and gnash your teeth in indescribable torment.

Safari Through the Word Ministries July- August 2009 Blog

Hi Friends:

We have not being in touch with you for a while. We went through a purchase of a home in South Florida and became re established in the USA after moving back from Africa.

Our second oldest daughter Hannah has gone to Pensacola Christian Academy to complete her 12 grade as a boarder. Because our children have been home schooled all their lives, boarding with other kids in the 12th grade is a distinctive treat.

We will be flying Lexy, our oldest, to New York City next week to transfer as a sophomore to Marymount Manhattan College and pursue her burgeoning career as a theater stage manager.

The "emptying nest syndrome" is difficult for Mary and me who have enjoyed God’s blessings of a tightly knit family for twenty years. We are thrilled however to find out how Jesus will mold our children's destinies as they step out on their own.

We are assistant pastors at Doral Vineyard in Miami, Florida, along with lead pastors Ralph and Cathy Gomez. Part of the activity that we are carrying out at Doral is to usher in a work of revival which will impact South Florida.

Genuine revival is not merely a display of the power of God at a specific meeting with specific miraculous results. Rather it is the protracted outpouring of the Holy Spirit week after week, month after month, and even year after year which will impact and transforms a city, a state, a country and even the world.

Mary and I find ourselves actively praying and counseling many who are being adversely affected by the moral and financial crisis which is enveloping the USA.

The Lord has blessed us with a healing ministry. We are in the midst of praying for many who are combating the ravages of cancer and other terminal diseases. We have seen healings in a number of cases and with numerous others precious ones, we continue to battle these diseases along side of them through faith and prayer.

We are blessed to have Carol Steinberg Albanese join our board of directors. She brings an amazing combination of dependability, knowledge of many things pertaining to corporations, finances, legal stuff, and plain ole business savvy. Carol is virtually a jack of all trades and a master of some.

As to our personal ministry, Safari Through the Word Ministries, the Lord is re- launching us once again into our global teaching conferences.

In the month of July we travelled to Ohio to minister in the "Second Annual Ohio Healing and Prophetic Explosion."

In September 23-27 we will have be having a major and unprecedented Navajo Prophetic Conference in Farmington, New Mexico.

We are praying and talking about going back to Kenya in early December for the annual School of Fire Conference in Maasai land where an authentic modern day revival is occurring.

We have our expositional teaching site available with pertinent teachings for the church from the original Hebrew and Greek. These teachings are free and downloadable.

We now have a Yahoo Group for our ministry which you can join for free. We will issue updates, a monthly expositional teaching, and you will have a chance to post comments, opinions or questions about the ministry.

Urgent Vision of the USA as a Wheel Barrow

I just got up from my knees after praying for the USA. I was startled by the vision that God gave to me. It was a vision of America as a wheel barrow. When a wheel barrow is full of dirt a man takes it to a designated place, lifts it up by its handles and empties out the dirt. The effect of the wheel barrow lifted up diagonally and the counter effect of the earth’s gravity on the dirt inside efficiently causes all of the dirt to empty itself out.

I saw the strong hands and arms of the Lord lift up the USA high from its northeast region such as from Washington DC to Maine. The country was hinged down in California so that it could not be moved from its place. When the Lord lifted up the northeast part of the country the rotation occurred diagonally around that hinge.
Everybody who did not have a living relationship with the Lord Jesus just slid down violently towards California, just as dirt is poured out of the wheel barrow. It was impossible for them to hold on to anything they had.

Those that were in the Lord but had a shallow, lukewarm, and worldly relationship were given a horizontal pole to hold on to. They had to grab on to the pole in dear life suspended horizontally in the fierce wind of the uplifting motion. The wind of action of the Lord pulled all of their clothes from them and they were left totally naked holding on to the pole. This signified that God was going to strip them from everything that was not of Him and leave them bare and naked.

Those that had a strong and committed walk with the Lord were given a seat to sit on and a thick pole in front of them to embrace with their arms. When the Lord did the heavy lifting of the northeast part of the country they were safe, secure and unmoved.
