Pastor Elias Onduas Ouma is a personal friend of mine. Elias is the senior pastor of Journey to Heaven churches operating throughout Kenya, numbering at least fifty. I have known and ministered with Elias in a number of conferences and seminars in Kenya. He and his wife Rosemary are wonderful people of God. Though greatly used by the Lord all over the nation, Elias and Rosemary live in abject poverty, in a mud home with a thatched roof, and no electricity, water, or toilets.
For a year, Elias's thatched roof has progressively rotted to the point that whenever it rains, large amounts of water comes into his home. In 2010, part of his roof collapsed.
Last year enough money was donated for Elias to purchase polythene and cover the gaping holes in the roof.

In reality what Elias needs is the construction of a new, temporary home. The price tag is about $5000.00. The price for a temporary roof is $ 2,500.00. We have raised $1,300.00 and need another $1,200.00 for the temporary roof. The rainy seasons begin now in February in Kenya.
I am presently receiving donations small and large, believing that this year Elias will be able to build his new home.
Safari Through the Word Ministries, is a 501 C 3 domestic non profit corporation. Your donations are tax deductible. Our ministry issues you receipts at the end of the year, towards this purpose. All donations are sent directly to Elias by Western Union without a middle man in Kenya.
