There is a New Kid in Town

This morning I was celebrating on how good it feels to work out, thirteen pounds lighter.  I was delighting in all the wonderful things which the Lord Jesus has performed in my life. A faithful, untiring and kind friend to me now for 31 years, He has never left or rejected me.

It is now that the new man in me, Christ Jesus, is being released in my life. Now I understand the immortal words of the Apostle Paul.

Php 3:8  Nay more, I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as refuse, that I may gain Christ,

Eph 1:17  that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,

Now I grasp a desire not to live out meager ways, but to discern the new man in me, Christ Jesus, do His thing and live out His life.  Now I am mesmerized by Him, to learn His ways, how He performs, His faith, and the motions of His anointing and power.  Paul tells us in Ephesians that we might know the hope, the riches and the greatness that live inside this new man.

I am riveted by His revelatory beauty which rolls into my life like infinite waves of glory and grace. I am engrossed by the laws which govern His comportment, so unlike to the laws of that archaic and ancient sinful man. His transcendental   nature which traverses every natural law makes every impossibility possible, and eliminates every limit from my life.

Paul tells us in Colossians….

Col 3:10 And have put on the new <3501> man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

The Strong Word # 3501 “Neos” is the word new. This “new” is demarcated as one who is young in age.  This talks about a kid, a youth, a teen ager!  The mighty Spirit of Christ Jesus, the new man, lives in me in pizzazz; He is enthusiastic, vivacious, passionate, lively and full of energy.  He can be dead serious, spanking harder than anybody else if we continue to ignore Him.  He is super fun and adventurous.  He is the happiest being in the whole universe, and at the same time, He is the One who can cast into hell.

When I become born again at the age of 25 I was younger in age. Yet, I had an archaic, ancient, decrepit, “cane walking” man living in me. I was on drugs and dropped out of university. I was a severe stutterer, full of demons and fears.  I was trapped in the claws of pornography and in the bondage of greed. I never thought I could have a home nor have a family.

Today at 56, though I have gray hair, I am living from this teenager, this kid, in me. He gets  bigger, realer, and more powerful by the day. It almost sounds like the lyrics to a song By David Clayton Thomas and Blood Sweat and Tears. LOL!

As the great philosophers of old, The Eagles, once sang, “There is a New Kid in Town”. Indeed for every Christian who is lives out of Christ Jesus, they can boldly proclaim, “There is a New Kid in Town”.  From now on, “I am gonna live” from the New Kid in Town.

Mt 9:17 Neither do men put new <3501> wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new <3501> wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

Mr 2:22 And no man putteth new <3501> wine into old bottles: else the new <3501> wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new <3501> wine must be put into new bottles.

Lu 5:37 And no man putteth new <3501> wine into old bottles; else the new <3501> wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.

Lu 5:38 But new <3501> wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.

Lu 5:39 No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new <3501>: for he saith, The old is better.

Lu 15:12 And the younger <3501> of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.

Lu 15:13 And not many days after the younger <3501> son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

Lu 22:26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger <3501>; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.

Joh 21:18 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young <3501>, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.

Ac 5:6 And the young men <3501> arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.

1Co 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new <3501> lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

Col 3:10 And have put on the new <3501> man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

1Ti 5:1 Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men <3501> as brethren;

1Ti 5:2 The elder women as mothers; the younger <3501> as sisters, with all purity.

The I Am Anointing

Matthew 28:20  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you (I with you am (present tense) alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

·        The fullness of the essence of God in Christ as “I AM” is always found in the present and immediate tense.  God supersedes the dimension of time.  As with faith, in ministry, God’s power will not be sent to us in the future.  His healing will not take place in the future.  His fire will not be poured out upon us in the future. At the moment that He reveals that these things are for us in a ministry situation they are forevermore and immediately there. The “I” of Jesus is presently always with us in the am of time.

Mark 14:62  And Jesus said, I am (I am (present tense): and ye shall see the Son of man sitting(continually and constantly ruling and reigning….) On (Christ’s energy/ fuel source is power; the world in which Christ operates is God’s power; and God’s power  does the work through Christ)  the right hand of power, and coming(continually and constantly) in the clouds of heaven.

·        As we live and minister in the timeless dimension of the immediacy of Christ’s continual “I AM ness”, His presence is always coming and is constantly present, in the sphere of God’s power.
·        His “I” always come sin the AM of time rooted in God’s power, continual ruling. and reigning.

John 8:42  Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came (Defined as :”Arrival” Christ is in a present and continuing and continual state of arrival ) from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

·        “Came” – This uncommon word describes to come in its dimension of arriving or arrival. Christ has arrived from God into our world, or more correctly because it is in the present tense, Christ is in a continuing state of arrival, confirming the timeless immediacy of the continual now of His presence. It is imperative that we ask God to deliver us into His world of the dimensionless- ness of time. As long as see God as doing things for us in the future we will never operate in miracles.

John 8:58  (AV) Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
In the am of time Jesus always is in the mode of I

John 10:30  I and my Father are one. (Present tense)
Greek: “I and the Father one are” A perfect and continuous exchange of location in the father and the instrumentality of the father’s works back through Jesus.
·        The “I” and the “Father” are one in the same

John 10:38  But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
·        Greek: That in THE ME the Father just as I am Him
·        The I being in Jesus allows complete accessibility for all that Jesus has. Jesus now in this I allows for full effectiveness of His power and so forth.

John 14:7  (AV) If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
·        From now on you know Him progressively and have seen Him with perfect discernment
9  (AV) Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
·        The one perfectly discerning me, perfectly has discerned the Father

John 14:10  Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in(Locative- in the world of) me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth (present participle- the continuing abiding in the world of the Spirit; necessary to produce miracles)  in me, he doeth(Present tense- the father performs the miracles in proportion to our abiding in the world of the Spirit) the works.

We have the timeless immediacy of faith at our disposal, as well as the continual and timeless immediacy of Jesus’ presence.  However, the continual and timeless immediacy of Jesus’ presence is also with the Father at the same moment that it with us. This guarantees the absolute effectiveness of our ministry, in that it is the Father who originates, energizes, produces and executes the works through Jesus. Christ’s presence with us in its timeless immediacy generates the works of the Father in their absolute perfection and effectiveness through us. This is because His presence is also in the timeless and continual fellowship with the Father.
§        The “I” in the Father allowing for access of all that our position in Christ has attained to.
§        The Father in ME is the I allowing for total effectiveness.
§        The Father which is now the ME does the works in the ME
·        Greek: The Father in or inside of  “ME”, is.

John 14:20  At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
Greek: I in my Father, and you in me and I in you.
·        Jesus now teaches us that the believer lives with the Father and the Son in the same perfect exchange of location and instrumentality as the Father and the Son themselves enjoy. This is because Jesus lives in the world of the Father so that the Father simultaneously executes His works back through Jesus.
·        Now we also see that the believer has been placed in the world of Jesus so that Jesus can instrumentally work back His works through the believer. In reality God works through Jesus and back into us because we are in the world of Jesus and Jesus is in the world of the Father. The believer is God’s channel for God to take the invisible works of His kingdom and manifest them into them through Jesus and then visibly through them into the world order. The exact and same ability to perform miracles just as Jesus did dwells in us.

John 16:28 ¶  I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: (I have come into the world system Perfect Tense)  again, I leave (I am constantly and continually releasing the world system)  the world, and go (I am constantly and continually journeying to  constantly and continually fellowship with the father) to the Father.
·        The perfect tense describes an event that has been accomplished and fully carried out in the past, but that its occurrence has an influence and an impact for us now and eternally forevermore. Jesus coming onto our world system is described in the perfect tense. His coming and presence for us is therefore in the timeless immediacy of the continual now.  At the very same moment that Jesus is timelessly and immediately here,
He is timelessly and immediately releasing Himself from the world system to timelessly and immediately fellowship with the Father.

John 17:11 ¶  And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
Greek: In order that they may be one (Present Subjunctive) in exactly the same way as us.
·        As the Son lives continuously from moment to moment in the world of the Father, the Father superimposes back upon those very same moments His works back through the Son. We must remember the timeless immediacy of the continual now in the workings of God.  In Jesus priestly prayer in John 17, He asks of the Father that the believers could operate in exactly this very same fashion. The present subjunctive tense is one that emphasizes the will of the person.  In other words the believer is not guaranteed that automatically he or she will operate in the timeless immediacy of continually dwelling in the world of God so that God can continually work His works back through them. Though positionally this is the true for every believer, the manifested reality of God from moment to moment flowing in His works back through the believer can only come as the believer out of his or her will dwells in the world of God from moment to moment.
·        To abide in Jesus is the same as living from moment to moment in the world of Jesus.

John 17:21  That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
Greek: that the may be one (Present Subjunctive) in exactly the same way that you Father in me, and I in you…
·        The prayer of Jesus is that the believer will from moment to moment live in the world of the Spirit so that the same perfect exchange of location in God and God instrumentality working His works back through them exactly as Jesus has with the Father, can take place in the believer. The believer has the same exact ability to work the works of Jesus to the degree that he or she lives as closely and dependently as Jesus lives in the world of the Father.

22  And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
Greek: That the may be one (Present Subjunctive) in exactly the same way that we one are (Present)

John 17:23  I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
·        Greek: I in them, and you in me, that they may become matured and completed into the same finished product manifesting our exact oneness; so that the world system might from moment to moment learn and know that you sent me into it with a mission, and that mission being that you loved them in exactly the same way that you loved me.
·        To the degree that every believer operates from moment to moment in the world of God of God so that God can simultaneously and from moment to moment work back through the believer will be the same degree that the church will become matured and completed in the oneness that the Father and the Son have.  This oneness as we have learned is the perfect exchange of Jesus being located in God and God instrumentality working His works back through Him.  As the church operates in this oneness with God, He then has absolute liberty to work His miracles in His church, revealing Jesus and His mission to love the world in exactly the same way that the Father loves Him, and thus drawing the world unto Himself through the church.

Gal 2:20  I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I but Christ liveth in me and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
·        Greek: Yet no longer I, but lives in the world that defines “ME”, Christ.

Memoirs of Ministry in Kenya 2007

Mary and I left back for Kenya in early July to complete prior ministry commitments, and bring our dogs back to the USA. The children are with our friends Donald and Maria Passwaters during this interim time.  Mary will go back to the Florida in early August and I will follow in the latter part of the month.

Our arrival into Kenya caught us up immediately into a flurry of ministry that is a trademark of the hunger for God in East Africa.

The Masaai Well Project
A few days after our arrival, we met with Pastor Joseph Kamhoro of Olmarram Free Pentecostal Church, Narok Kenya.  The Olamarram Church is in the heart of Masaai land.  Last year we were invited by Pastor Joseph to be the speakers at a church fundraiser and had noticed how many of the Masaais have red teeth.  He told us that people in that area drink muddy river water due to an absence of a well.  I spoke about this issue at the Doral Vineyard Church in South Florida. The church gave $1500.00 toward the project.  The money was too little at that time for the digging of the well.  We held on to the funds until Pastor Joseph was able to work out something with the government who will pay the balance on the digging of the well.  It was a joyous occasion two weeks ago, right after our arrival, to meet with Pastor Joseph and give to him the money.

Western Kenya
The next day on 11th of July, Mary and I boarded a bus to Western Kenya to carry out 12 days of conferences in three different places with our friend Elias Ouma Onduas, senior pastor of The Journey to Heaven Ministries, an organization with 13 churches.

Pastor Elias recently changed his ministry’s name to be able to show solidarity with our ministry, Safari Through the Word.  In Swahili, Safari is defined as a journey.  The teachings that we provide have affected him to such a point that he has wanted to have all of his churches in agreement with them.  In a way, his ministry has adopted us as its spiritual parents.

The commitment of African Christians to the gospel truly astounds us.  The last of the three conferences, in Ugunja Kenya, was geared for the pastors of all of Elias’s churches to come and sit under our teachings.  Pastors and evangelists as far as Mombassa Kenya traveled on 24-hour bus drive to spend two days with us. Two pastors, one 54 and the other 64 years of age rode their bicycles 6 hours each way to attend.  Four evangelists, who live by absolute faith and no money, ministered with us at the beginning and the end of the12 day tour.

The Adult Education Project
Earlier this year through a vision that Mary and I had, we began an adult reading school at Pastor Elias church in Ugunja with $400.00. Western Kenya, as well as Masaai land, has a high rate of illiteracy amongst adult believers.  It has burdened Mary and me that if Christians cannot read the Word of God they will not grow and the revival in Kenya will not be sustained. With $400.00 from our supporters, we got the school off the ground with tables, chairs, books and Bibles for six people.  Immediately the number of people that wanted to read swelled.  More came and as they came, they gave their hearts to Jesus.  This shows the love of the gospel in action.  We were still in need of more Bibles, books, tables and chairs to be able to get the 18 people ceiling that Elias’s building can hold.

On this trip, through the love gifts of our supporters, we brought Pastor Elias an additional $1600.00 that will complete the school.  There will now be chairs, tables, and books for the18 students and the salaries of two teachers.  The school is self-sustaining in that the books will stay behind for the next batch of students.  There was a little ceremony at the school since Mary and I had not seen it since it began a few months back. Three women gave their hearts to the Lord at this ceremony.

The Aram Kenya Conference
We left for Journey to Heaven Church in Aram, Kenya in the first of the three conference stops.
On the first morning of our teachings, a number of people were instantaneously healed. An old man by the name of John, who could hardly walk, received a miracle in his knees and started running around the adjacent field.  Pastor Richard’s (the Aram pastor) mother, Gladys, a woman in her 80’s received a miracle healing in her eyes.  Speaking only Ki Luo she looked at me with a big grin on her face as the healing took place. Mama Gladys sat in the front row of every conference session during our four days there.  Another lady by the name of Mama Jane had suffered from a mild stroke years back and had been totally healed except the vision in her eye.  Her eye was instantaneously healed.  Jane’s 15-year-old daughter Beka was a backslidden believer.  Hearing about what happened to her mom she came several days later and gave her heart back to the Lord.  She likewise had suffered a mild stroke that had caused paralysis in her left arm that would not allow her to lift up heavy objects.  After prayer, a bucket with about 25 pounds of water was brought to her which Beka lifted with ease. Praise the Lord!

In one of the evening crusade meetings God had me speak on the cleansing of the generational bloodline from witchcraft that vastly exists in the rural parts of Kenya. I felt a huge wall of unbelief when I spoke about it and my prayers seemed to have little anointing. I said, “What now Lord?”  The Lord told me to call up the children who were sick. To our surprise a procession of about 30-40 children formed.  Most of them suffered either from stomach problems or headaches (we suspect typhoid) or needed prayers for the passing of their school examinations.  The healing power came upon every child as we went down the prayer line.  Headaches and stomach pains instantaneously left!
We have been astonished repeatedly at the incredible grasp of deep spiritual truths by illiterate Kenyans in towns where there is no money, water, toilets, or electricity.  The conference material that was taught dealt with the renewed mind operating in the mysteries and patterns of God, and capturing the invisible things of God in heavenly places.

Mary and I have been burdened by the state of Pastor Richard’s church in Aram.  Due to its incredible poor structure because of the poverty in the area, he has lost a good part of his congregation.  The cost of getting a good structure would be 1000 dollars.  We believe the Lord for this money.
When we were going to take our baths, we observed that the water was muddy.  The answer here would be to have a pump and pipes bring in water from nearby Lake Victoria.  The cost of a well would be too high in this very remote area. We are believing God for this as well.

The Ndeda Island Conference
We then went on to Ndeda Island about five miles inside Lake Victoria.  This island of 5,000 is a fishing village.  This island is known for prostitution and drunkedness.  Many spiritual churches have attempted to be planted there but have failed.  The only remaining churches are the Catholic Church and one started by our friend, Pastor Elias.  Those that reside in Ndeda are there strictly for business purposes.  Every night the lake is besieged with lights from countless boats catching omena (similar to sardine), Nile perch, and tilapia.  Upon our arrival, many children came to meet us.  These kids were to follow us around everywhere we went.

Large amount salvations and a unique healing anointing highlighted the Ndeda meetings.  In our three conferences any where between 40-50 people gave their hearts to the Lord.  One evening right before dinner, after baptizing four people, three people gave their hearts to the Lord including one drunk who fell and was out in the Spirit for 15 minutes.  That night he was at the crusade.  Just as dinner was to be served the Lord told me, “a man is going to come in thorough the door.”  Seconds later a tall figure came into the hazy light of our kerosene lamp lit room. He was a backslidden preacher.  When we prayed he fell on his face on the dirt floor, wailing, weeping and repenting as we then continued with our dinner adjacent to him.

Another night God performed a healing upon every person that came forward.  People with eye problems, asthma, allergies, bone aches, headaches, heart problems, neck problems all experienced instantaneous relief.  Two women that were barren experienced the movements of the Spirit of God in their womb.  One of them said that she felt a wind blow inside her belly.  We give ALL glory to God alone.

The Ugunja Kenya Conference
Our final stop was Ugunja, where many pastors from many different parts of Kenya attended. We continued to enjoy the powerful teaching and healing anointings that we had experienced in Aram and Ndeda. God had us do a Hebrew 4:12 impartation for a dividing of soul from the spirit and a Romans 7:25 impartation for the creation of a renewed mind which can live by the law of God.

I always teach on financial principles on the last day of these conferences due to the very inferior understanding of finances that exists in east Africa. We teach people to give tithes and offerings by the rhema word of God versus giving out of a poverty mindset.  We teach on 2Cor 10:4-5 and train people that the imaginations of a world filled with poverty must be cast down so that they can be free to operate by the wisdom of God in mysteries.

After my message, the evangelist came up and told people that if they did not have any money to give, they always had something to give to God, even if it was a leaf. The offering then started. A blanket was placed down next to Mary and me as we shut our eyes in worship. To my amazement when I opened up up my eyes and looked down at the blanket, there was a baby on it! One woman had nothing to give but her child.  The leaders prayed for the child, dedicated it to the Lord, and gave it back to the woman again.

Sarah
We were getting ready to send out this newsletter, when we had dinner with our white missionary friend Stacy Cloud.  A twenty-two year girl by the name of Sarah was there.  Sarah had been deaf from the age of thirteen.  After dinner, we prayed for Sarah’s ear. She suddenly began groaning as her ears opened up and she began hearing.  Mary stood behind her back and spoke to her a variety of words that Sarah was able to perfectly recite back to her.  As we were leaving Mary said in a loud voice “Sarah,” “Sarah.”  The Clouds have a big two-story missionary home.  Sarah came running to where we were from another room in the house.  Thank you Jesus!

We now continue on to conferences in Mombasa, Maasai Land, Tanzania, and an ordination service before going back to America to continue work into East Africa.  It is God’s desire to see an exchange between Africa and the USA. We love you all!

God bless you

Jose's Mathematical Equation for Operating in God's Power

Jose's Equation for the Power of God

(Ischus + kratos X energia ) X (confidence squared) = Dunamis power

Faith is a law.

Romans 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

I can apply my equation therefore, but mind you, just for fun. I know that the power of God cannot be simplified to such an equation, but there is some accuracy to this formula for God's power.

Lets look at my equation.

(Ischus + kratos X energia ) X (confidence squared) = Dunamis power

Eph 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power (dunamis power) to us-ward who believe, according to the working ( energy; energia) of his
mighty (dominion; kratos) power (inner strength; ischus)

Where as dunamis power is power in ability. The quality of being able to perform; a quality that permits or facilitates achievement or accomplishment

Whereas energy; energia, is power in function or functionality.
The quality of performing as expected when applied

Whereas dominion or kratos, is manifested or outwardly exhibited power to rule and subdue.

Whereas inner strength or ischus is hidden, resident, indwelling power, in a static state.

Eph 3:12 In whom we have boldness and ACCESS with confidence by the faith of him.

CONFIDENCE in the voice of God is the great factor in releasing the gifts and the power of God. This is why I have place confidence as (squared) or a quality which works exponentially. The amount of confidence that we have in obeying God, or giving a word, or praying for someone, is directly proportional to the access that we will have to the anointing, the power, the gifts or to the grace of God. Confidence by faith gives us boldness with God and the most important of all thing, ACCESS, to the things of the kingdom of God.

Eph 3:12 In whom we have boldness and ACCESS with confidence by the faith of him.

Romans 5:2 By whom also we have ACCESS by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Faith in the Hebrew is the word AMEN. We must operate in the AMEN or CONFIDENCE anointing when obeying God.

ACCESS” in the things of the kingdom of God is the right to obtain or make use of or take advantage of something (as services or membership). It is the right to enter.

Dunamis power, or power in ability is the resultant power of what dominion brings forth. Ability is the quality of being able to perform; a quality that permits or facilitates achievement or accomplishment. God is a God who is “able” to perform all things that He decrees. This is why God moves in dunamis power. Inherent or resident power, manifested as dominion power results in achievement or accomplishment and hence dunamis power.

(Ischus + kratos X energia ) X (confidence squared) = Dunamis power

Functionality is the quality of performing as expected when applied. Inherent power is “energized” to become dominion power. When we operate from the indwelling or resident power of God within us we want to release by faith the energy of God to make his dominion or manifested power function or be functional, also by faith. When God's dominion power is functioning or being energized from his resident power by us..... BANG!, everything becomes possible or able, and there is the manifestation of DUNAMIS POWER.

The great catalyst however is our confidence in the Lord. Any incremental increase in our confidence will exponentially increase ACCESS to the the things of the kingdom and to the whole process of the power of God just which I just described.

This is the way that the new man, the Lord Jesus Christ, operates in us.
Think about that today.
