The Amen Anointing

We continue today with our studies of the OT words for “believing and faith”...The Aman, & Amen family of verbs and nouns.

I have copied and pasted the following excerpts from the pages of The OnLine Bible because it so well describes what we are teaching.

It was a custom, which passed over from the synagogues to the Christian assemblies, that when he who had read or discoursed, had offered up solemn prayer to God, the others responded Amen, and thus made the substance of what was uttered their own.

The Amen makes the substance of what is uttered ( or desired) d into “Our Own.” This is so important!

The word "amen" is a most remarkable word. It was transliterated directly from the Hebrew into the Greek of the New Testament, then into Latin and into English and many other languages, so that it is practically a universal word. It has been called the best known word in human speech. The word is directly related — in fact, almost identical — to the Hebrew word for "believe" (amam), or faithful. Thus, it came to mean "sure" or "truly," an expression of absolute trust and confidence. (HMM)

Look at what the scriptures tell us about Jesus.

Re 3:14 "And to the minister of the Church at Laodicea write as follows: "‘This is what the Amen says—the true and faithful witness, the Beginning and Lord of God’s Creation.

Literal Greek ...The Amen, The Witness, The Believing, and True

When we operate in God’s voice we operate in the anointing of The Amen. When we speak the rhema word, we speak The Amen. The anointing of Jesus is The Amen.

Praying and seeing people get healed is mostly an issue of knowing that when we lay our hands upon someone, the laying of our hands is The Amen of the matter.

When we command in the Spirit, we command in The Amen.

Mt 8:7 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.

Literal Greek; I coming, will heal ( Active Indicative) him. The indicative tells us that it will happen without fail. The active tells us that it is Jesus doing the healing. So we must operate in the same fashion.

Mark 16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. ( Literally, "well they shall become") This is again in the active indicative. We carry The Amen anointing.

The laying on of our hands on the sick by the rhema word is The Amen. They SHALL RECOVER. It is simply an issue of faith and knowing, not one of effort. In heaven, the throne of God rides and flows on wheels. So does His anointing.

2Co 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

Greek: As many as are the promises of Him in Him are The Yes (An affirmative expression; an answer that shows agreement or acceptance  and in Him are The Amen.

This is the absolute confidence of our ministry in the Holy Spirit. We must learn to minister in The Amen and in The Yes by faith. Again, it is not effort, but confidence and assurance.

Jesus is the Believing One. For me that is ultimately important, because faith as an invisible object in the Kingdom of God, is a thing that grows exponentially, even within minutes, in proportion to our absolute assurance and authority. Faith, says Smith Wigglesworth, is the key to vault of heaven. The vaults of the heavens located in heavenly places are full of invisible objects dwelling, co- relating to each other, and seamlessly functioning. These objects can grow, multiply and increase even in seconds directly proportional to our faith because they operates in mysteries, and dwell in glory, independently of the three dimensions which limit the functions of visible objects.

Faith in the Spirit, likewise operates without limits or bounds and is fueled by absolute confidence, authority, assurance, doubtlessness and immediate obedience to the affairs of the Holy Spirit. The key to miracles is found in this type of life.

1Th 1:5 For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance <4136>; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

Heb 6:11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance <4136> of hope unto the end:

Heb 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance <4136> of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Ro 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Eph 3:12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

Faith is our confidence and assurance of obtaining the invisible objects from the vaults of God’s kingdom, in exactly the same way that a mortgage deed, an insurance policy, or service contract for an appliance, is our absolute confidence and assurance that an appliance or medical needs are totally guaranteed. There is no difference. One is visible, the other one is invisible.

The fact that Jesus has been labeled “The Believing One” in Revelations 3:14 places us into an anointing of continual belief if we don’t deviate from the voice of the Holy Spirit.
