Lu 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
During our prayer meeting last night I realized that the “good measure, pressed down, and shaken together and running over,” is an anointing that we can enter in, receive, and operate in, if we are givers by the Spirit of God.
You need to get into the habit of continually sowing by the rhema word of God to see the experiential reality of this. I must confess that I have not seen this because, I am not a great sower. Yes, I give, but I still have fear and I still count my chickens before they hatch, so to speak, when it comes to money. Yet, God revealed this to me and I am excited, and at the same time a bit fearful, which I know it’s not from the Lord.
Give, and it shall be given unto you; Is in the present tense. We must be giving so that it is given back.
Pressed down, and shaken together; are both in the perfect, passive participle order. This grammatical combination is the most powerful indication of existence, realm, state, or reality in the Greek. In other words, if you are an active sower, the reality or the anointing surrounding your life will be one where God is giving back to you in a manner where blessings are being pressed together and shaken or sifted so He can give you more. This will become your natural mode of living.
The running over or overflowing is in the present signifying a continuous process.
How would you like to live in this mode of receiving from the Lord, and I am not just talking about money. This is God's natural way of being. God is a God of infinite abundance that must be entered into by ever increasing faith on our part. Our hindrance is our unrenewed mind.
